The National Parks division of Active Interest Media in Boulder, Colo., is looking for a flexible permanent part time worker who can work 2-3 days a week during the day and occasionally after hours if needed. Part of the job responsibilities will require the use of her or his own car to take bulk mailings to post office on a weekly basis. If possible working on Tuesday's and Friday's is preferred but very willing to discuss available hours. Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs as stocking and moving of boxed brochures is a majority of the job responsibilities.

This position will also require 4-5 hours working in the office assisting in filling our Trip Planner requests for National park vacation planning. This job requires a minimum of 10 hours a week completing both responsibilities above but depending on demand may reach up to a maximum of 25 hours a week if we have the demand and you are wanting to work the hours.

Some of our brochures deliveries are very small but other deliveries will be larger pallets depending on the time of year. This task requires that you be available to stock these boxes by the end of the day even if after typical 5:00pm close or during the weekend depending on timing of delivery and space. The goal will be to have deliveries stocked within 24 hours. You must be able to lift and move up to 35 lbs repeatedly and comfortably.

The post office is only 2 miles from the office. For post office deliveries of the bulk mailing you will need to follow the post offices schedule. The post office only accepts batches from 9:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. and but they do not accept them from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. Its likely you will be visiting the post office more than one time a day depending on the number of batches that will fit in your car or your availability to come in either two or 3 days per week.

You will be working a minimum of 10 hours per week with a limit of 25 hours per week. The work varies on demand but there is a lot of room for flexibility to make the job easy to accommodate any schedule. It is a fun and flexible environment without a typical dress code, and it is important to enjoy your work.
