We're looking for a Pouch Operator to enhance us and thrive at our growing company that is a disrupting force in the flexible packaging market.

Currently looking for 1st and 2nd shift operators (2nd shift with shift differential).

ePac Boulder LLC is disrupting the flexible packaging market with its quick turn-times and short runs by utilizing digital printing, laminating and pouching in-house. We're excited to have just celebrated our One Year Anniversary and are continuing to grow at a rapid rate. About You

Hardworking team player, organized, displays a positive attitude, able to think outside-the-box, is flexible in requested tasks, able to see what needs to be done before it needs to be done

Essential Responsibilities

- Follow work orders to properly set-up and execute final pouch production

- Make adjustments to machine such as changing zipper cloth, dies, seal bars and punches.

- Measure workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.

- Perform required quality testing on products produced, i.e. burst test, drop test, water table test, etc.

- Perform regular Preventative Maintenance on equipment and observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunction. Makes corrections to eliminate out-of-specification product.

- Maintain efficiency reports and required documentation accurately and timely.

- Assist and work cooperatively with Pouch Assistants to stack, mark, pack, and transport finished boxes.

- Oversee daily performance of Pouch Assistant functions

- Make recommendations to supervision and management for improvement of production in terms of efficiency and workflow

- Participate in ongoing training opportunities and supports a continuous quality improvement environment.

- Ensure personal compliance with company Quality System, Operational, and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including Safety and housekeeping procedures.

Experience and Education

- High School diploma or GED

- 2 years related work experience or training in manufacturing, pouch operations a huge plus

- Basic knowledge of flexible packaging also a plus
