Job Store Staffing is hiring a Laser Punch Operator for our client in Louisville at the Colorado Technology Center. Great location, excellent opportunity with a growing, busy company! Temp to hire, benefits once hired on.
Hours are M-F 1:30-10 pm
Pay is $16.50-17/hour
Duties and Requirements
-Operate, maintain laser and punch equipment within manufactures recommendations.
-Cut, punch and scan flat patterns to assure that they are correct parts for job requirements.
-Make sure that material provided is the correct type and thickness requested on drawing.
-Maintain all maintenance logs as required by the manufacture.
-2-3 YEARS minimum experience setting up Amada CNC Lasers and punches.
-Must be familiar with running materials such as steel, galvanized steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
-Must be proficient at making adjustments to cutting conditions when needed.
-Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
-Must know how to use measuring tools such as Calipers, Micrometers and Height Gauge.
-Must have an understanding of punch and die clearances needed when loading tooling.
-Good computer skills to find and load programs into controllers.
-Operate forklift.
-Operate basic hand tools when needed.
-Understanding of material gauges and thickness measurements.
