Pike's Peak Organic Manufacturing is a rapidly growing Certified Organic Manufacturer of handcrafted soap products, personal care products and household cleaning supplies. We do private label manufacturing for Fortune 500 and Blue-Chip companies.
We are hiring for the following position:
Manufacturing Technician
You will be part of the manufacturing team that makes our Organic and Natural products on a large scale. Your day will consist of cooking large batches of product using vats, mixing tanks and heavy-duty mixers. You will be weighing out raw materials using small and large scales, scooping soap paste as well as moving pallets, drums and totes.
This position is very physical and will require that you can lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Experience with homogenizers and diaphragm pumps preferred but not required. An aptitude for fixing and maintaining equipment is also rewarded.

Our normal work week is Monday through Friday; however, there are times that employees may need to work over the weekend.ÂFlexibility and willingness to work overtime is a must!

Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for systems maintenance, facilities and equipment maintenance ensuring the safety and reliability of the equipment, while minimizing downtime and ensuring employee safety.
Experience with liquid filling machines, bottle labeling machines, conveyors, ink jet coders, diaphragm pumps and homogenizers
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Use a wide range of powered tools, hand tools, and vibratory tools/equipment
Follow proper housekeeping standards to ensure clean and organized maintenance work areas
Qualifications and Skills
Strong verbal and written communications
Knowledge of GMP practices and OSHA requirements
Exceptionally strong communication skills, both oral and written
Experience developing and maintaining PM schedules and other detailed records
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
