COME GROW WITH US! Air Squared Manufacturing, Inc. is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. We are building exciting new technology ranging from a compressor for the Mars Rover to life saving artificial hearts! We are seeking several Precision Assembler 2 candidates to support Manufacturing Processes. The individual should be driven, organized, and have strong multitasking skills. The Precision Assembler 2 works in the assembly shop building units with the intention of meeting production goals.
Responsibilities in this position:
Build Scroll compressors, vacuum pumps, and expanders per written instructions and engineering drawings
Work individually and in team assembly cells
Assist with packaging and preparing product for shipment
Assist with end of year physical inventory count
Help put systems in place to increase organization and efficiency
Read work orders to determine work instructions and jobs to be completed
Ensure work area is clean, accessible and safe
Organize work area for orderliness at all times
Perform other required tasks as assigned
The job will require the following skills and knowledge:
1-5 years™ experience in a mechanical assembly environment
Ability to lift 50 lbs. unaided
Knowledge of ISO 9001 Standard preferred
Knowledge of Aerospace, Automotive or Medical quality standards is preferred
Pre-employment drug test (not marijuana) and background check required
