Touchstone Commercial Building Services

Location: Longmont, COSUMMARY

Touchstone Commercial Building Services is a growing commercial real estate office in Longmont whose focus is providing facilities management services to both tenants and building owners. We are in need of adding an Office Assistant to our team. The Office Assistant will perform a wide-range of activities in commercial real estate maintenance operations to ensure that customers are being taken care of and paperwork is being processed in an accurate and timely manner. This position will perform or may assist in the duties and responsibilities listed below.

The Office Assistance will be a part of our teams’ success by preforming the following duties and responsibilities:Answering phones.Creating, tracking and completing work orders from inception to close.Preparing customer correspondence.Collating and processing information to ensure accurate billing.Maintain filing systems. Data entry.Assist accounting in preparing documentation for reporting.Perform other duties as assigned.COMPENSATION:

$13-16/hr depending on experience, plus benefits.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

B.A. degree in accounting, business or equivalent; 2+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must have the ability to work with others, the ability to follow direction from management, and the ability to follow workplace procedures.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to operate various software packages, specific to work orders or property management such as Angus or Yardi, respectively; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to operate various types of office equipment such as fax machines, copiers and printers.

This position is based in Longmont but on rare occasion may be required to travel to our Boulder office.
