Headquartered in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, we are a growing real estate fund focused on private lending to residential & commercial real estate developers and investors across the United States.
We are growing fast and are adding a team member to our loan closing and servicing team. This role is integral to the success of the business unit and requires someone who is super detailed and can juggle various deadlines at the same time without dropping a ball. The ideal candidate would have experience or a high level of interest in the real estate, lending or financial services industries. You will get to learn all about investing in and financing real estate transactions and become a master of the details involved.
Responsibilities:
Manage a loan pipeline of 25+ loans per month
Leverage your strong attention to detail to close loan transactions completely & accurately
Communicate with sales and management team and assist in resolving issues as they arise
Coordinate the loan closing including:
Distributing loan terms to title & escrow agent or closing attorney
Reviewing title commitment and settlement statements, collecting insurance, creating loan document set, and ensuring the borrower(s) appropriately sign all legal documents
Ensure all documents related to Borrower underwriting, Deal underwriting and Loan closing are saved to the "File"
Assist Controller with funding of new loans
Assist with servicing all loans in our portfolio which includes:
Coordinate construction draw inspections, review 3rd party draw reports and assist with processing draw payments and communicating funding request to the internal Controller
Answer ad-hoc questions from current borrowers regarding the status of their loans
Assist with payoff requests, communicating with 3rd party servicer and internal Controller
Identify & mitigate risk throughout the closing, post close, construction draw and loan release processes to help the company and its investors maximize performance and return on capital.
Assist in the assignment of loans to external investors as needed
Provide "Aloha" service & support to borrowers

People person that enjoys interacting with clients, colleagues and counter-parties --- You get to be involved with financing real estate project both big and small, and everything relies on great relationships!
Location: Boulder, CO
Compensation: Salary based on experience + Performance Bonus
