We're a local homebrew supply shop looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our crew. Our ideal candidate will be passionate and knowledgeable about all areas of fermentation; including wine, cider, beer, cheese, kombucha, etc.
Position Description:
The Retail Store Associate will help all customers throughout their visit to the store. Assist with homebrew questions, troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations on products.
Other duties will include but are not limited to:
-Process and ring up purchases
-Help customers with technical brewing questions
-Stock, receive, and help maintain inventory of all items in the store
-Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment (sweep, mop, dust, keep grain room/bottle room tidy, etc.)
-Package products
-Assist with kegging/equipment setup and repairs
-Be able to lift 50+ lbs of grain bags as needed
-Seasonally press apples and grapes
-Fill online orders
-Other duties as assigned
Previous experience in retail and homebrewing/fermentation is required. Must have open availability and willing to work weekends.
