An established 24-hour market and deli on the Pearl Street west end seeks to hire a part-time cashier / stocker for its overnight shifts. Looking for someone to cover 2-3 shifts per week with hours starting between 10pm-12am and ending at 6am.
Primary responsibilities are consistent with those of a standard grocery retail environment, including the operation of a cash register, restocking drink coolers / shelves, general cleaning, overall monitoring / safety of the store, and an emphasis on customer service. Additional store specific responsibilities will be discussed in detail during the inquiry or interview process.
Applicants should be comfortable working independently, enforcing store policies, standing for long periods of time, maintaining a high level of productivity and professionalism without direct supervision, occasionally lifting heavy objects (tables / chairs / packaged products, etc.), and most of all staying up all night.
