Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be reliable and able to work with little supervision. This person must be self-motivated, hard-working, and capable of following specific directions and written instructions.
Position Responsibilities:
Cleans and decontaminates laboratory glassware and production equipment
Follows specific methods of washing glassware depending on department of origin, avoiding cross-contamination.
Assists other departments as needed
Essential Duties:
Inspects glassware to ensure pieces are clean and undamaged returning them in an uncontaminated condition to their respective labs
Ensures good operating condition of washing equipment
Cleans glassware according to SOPs
Develops an understanding of quality assurance systems and manufacturing processes to assist in the implementation of process changes
Establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication with peers and supervisors.
Willingness to be cross-trained and moved to other areas as needed
Must be willing and able to perform other laboratory related duties as assigned
Follow OSHA Employee safety standards. Report any facility or employee related safety issues to management immediately
Participate in company safety meetings

Education/Experience Desired:
High school diploma or equivalent required, must be 18 years of age
Commercial CGMP and/or manufacturing experience preferred, food industry experience a plus
Working knowledge of (or willingness to learn) CGMP, HACCP, OSHA and other regulatory and safety requirements a plus
Physical demands: While performing duties of this job, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This job requires both physical and mental agility and stamina. Employee is required to be on their feet for the majority of the time. Must demonstrate good manual dexterity and be able to perform repetitive tasks.
Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in a production environment. The noise level is usually moderate.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $15.00 Per Hour
