We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will plan, direct and coordinate activities for the construction of commercial real estate projects, both capital and tenant finish. They will be responsible for the organization, administration, scheduling, budgeting and execution of the complete project sequence. Position requires strong leadership, management, communication and organizational skills. They will also provide assistance to customers and estimators and direction to project contractors and field staff to ensure both owner and tenant satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports to management as required. Strong documentation skills throughout project duration required.

Participate in preliminary job/safety walk through meeting, monthly billing meetings, regular job site inspections and final close out meeting.

Prepare change orders and obtain proper approvals from property management, owner and/or tenant and notify accounting department of changes.

Reviews and approves project related invoices in accordance with the approved budget.

Ensure that projects are completed in accordance with required codes, safety requirements, approved drawings, schedule and quality workmanship.

Build trust and relationships with field personnel; establish and maintain a team mentality with the goal of completing all projects in a timely and cost effective manner.

Timely completing all closeout requirements, schedules, and final payment.

Basic Requirements:

Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office and basic Windows applications.

5+ years of commercial specific construction management experience.

Participate in preliminary job/safety walk through meeting, monthly billing meetings, regular job site inspections and final close out meeting.

Four year degree in construction related field preferred.

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Must be able to demonstrate competence in both written and verbal communications.

Valid driver's license.

Additional Requirements:

Experience in design and construction activities for hospital and medical office buildings.

Knowledgeable in principles of architecture, engineering, and construction.

Experience in CAD would be beneficial.

Good understanding of Federal, State and local laws and regulations related to real estate.

Specific knowledge of OSHA and similar regulatory agencies practices/ policies/ procedures.
