RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of an Engineer III Consultant - Core Data in Colorado Springs, CO.
Summary:
The candidate will have responsibilities for the Spine/Leaf fabric networks to successfully engineer, automate and deploy the network configuration in Network Equipment Centers (NECs) and other data centers. The candidate must work closely with the Capacity Planning, Design and Operations teams to implement our strategic technology goals in support of the Spine/Leaf fabric platform Enhanced Network Services Edge (eNSE). The candidate will work to support the company's strategic technology goals including the ongoing migration of core elements to VCP and eNSE. The candidate will work to create an environment of teamwork and cooperation with all stakeholders including VCP-Engineering teams, Sys-Ops and Tier2 operations teams, various planning and design teams. The successful candidate is expected to engage, be visible, and lead by example.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
Four or more years of relevant work experience
Experience with IP Layer 1-3 for Edge Networks and knowledge of MPLS
Experience with BGP, ISIS, and VXLAN routing
Knowledge of F5, A10, and Radware load balancers and FWs
Vendor Hardware - Cisco, Nokia, Arista, BigSwitch, and other networking technologies/certifications
Vendor Operating Systems - Cisco IOS, NXOS, Nokia SROS, Arista EOS, HP, Bigswitch, etc.
Hands on experience with virtualization of networks/servers
Knowledge of fabric networking
