Our client is seeking a Junior Systems/Network Administrator (70% Systems Administrator and 30% Network Administrator) for an exciting direct hire opportunity.
DUTIES:
Systems Administrator responsibilities
Provide overflow tier 1 support to first call resolution team
Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support for clients including but not limited to;
Troubleshoot hardware/software issues/errors, documenting fixes in internal or client spaces
Support for escalated tickets from the first call resolution team
Log 80% of time with 50% of time being logged as billable work
Complete management of Office 365 tenants including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
Complete management of Windows Active Directory, Domain Controller, related Microsoft Server Applications, and Virtualization tools
Complete management of Windows/Mac workstations including configuration, maintenance, updates to operating system and applications
Physically/virtually deploy internal and client Servers and Workstations
Complete management of tools used to take care of clients including RMM, Webroot, RapidFire, Veeam, and Acronis
Complete management of supported phone systems including extension management, IVR, call queues, and time-based rules
Set up and manage basic networks to include Firewalls, Switches, and Access Points
Assist with defining, implementing, and maintaining best practices for Server and Workstation policies and procedures
Provide and maintain documentation of internal and client accounts
Provide proactive maintenance for client Servers and Workstations
Provide plan/feedback to management for client infrastructure improvement
Additional duties as assigned
Network Administrator responsibilities

Physically/virtually deploy network equipment internally and at client locations
Physically/virtually deploy internal and client Servers and Workstations
Monitor internal and client network connectivity, performance, and security
Complete management of supported phone systems including extension management, IVR, call queues, and time-based rules
Assist with defining, implementing, and maintaining best practices Server and Workstation policies and procedures
Provision Network Ports and VLANs for Data Center Colocation Customers
Provide and maintain documentation of internal and client accounts
Provide proactive maintenance for client Networks
Provide plan/feedback to management for client infrastructure improvement
Additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of overall IT Support experience
1+ year of Systems/Network Administrator experience
1+ year of Windows Active Directory, Domain Controller, related Microsoft Server Applications, and Virtualization tools experience.
1+ year of complete management of client network infrastructure including, firewalls, switches, access points, VLANs, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access rules
Superior Communication Skills
CCNA Certification a plus
Location: Colorado Springs Pay: 3-Month Contract to Hire $26.00hr/+ (salary after contract and going perm. Up to $55,000.00 per year.
