United Way of Santa Fe County (UWSFC) is a leader within Santa Fe's early childhood education and care community, with a strong reputation for excellence. We are looking for professional, creative, and dedicated early childhood educators to join our team. Our high-quality, Reggio Emilia inspired, early PreK and PreK center is on the ground floor of shaping a Dual Language Program, with the goal of preparing Santa Fe's young learners for success in school and life. Each classroom has a maximum of 18 students and has one Lead Teacher and one Educational Assistant as well as the support of multiple floating teacher aides. We also provide wraparound care from 7:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. and a summer program for an additional fee.
UWSFC offers a positive work environment - many of the teachers at our Early Learning Center have been with us for over ten years - with many continuing education and scholarship opportunities for staff. We also place a strong emphasis on staff support by providing monthly In-service days for Professional Development and Work Days, a minimum of three hours of planning time per week for each teaching team, and weekly school-wide planning meetings.
