Title: District Manager
Reports to: Regional Manager/Director of Operations
Status: Exempt
Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing leadership and operational expertise to the restaurant teams in the assigned district. The District Manager is responsible for driving sales, profitability and the culture in the district while maintaining a consistent customer experience and operational compliance.
Specific Responsibilities
Teach, mentor, develop, and grow operations teams by providing continual coaching around all metrics of our business.
Build an effective stream of motivated and talented managers through training and development, supplying meaningful and timely performance feedback.
Observe and assess manager training, provide feedback and conduct meetings as necessary to ensure effective training.
Accountable for all aspects of the restaurants' operations and financial performance standards.
Engage in clear, consistent communications with management and restaurant team members on a frequent basis.
Demonstrate respect for individual employees and showing appreciation for their efforts and contributions.
Establish plans to visit restaurants daily and weekly to set priorities, manage details, ensure maintenance, and conduct effective coaching visits that ensure an ever-improving guest experience.
Ensure system-wide uniformity of operational standards and procedures in district.
Review Operations Assessment Reports, (O.A.R.) inspections in district throughout the year; discuss with managers and/or Franchise Business Coach as necessary.
Promote the delivery and rollout of new products, marketing initiatives, technology, operational programs and procedures.
Provide informative communication and feedback to Regional Manager, Vice President of Operations and other senior management on issues which drive the improvement of operations, including new programs to support operations and growth.
Stay abreast of operational best practices, proactively obtain knowledge and training in all areas of restaurant operations and other areas relating to business objectives.
Other responsibilities as assigned within the scope of the position.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of multi-unit operations.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Technically competent in all aspects of restaurant operating systems, learning systems and typical desktop software.
Have a safe driving record reliable vehicle for transportation.

Talk and hear in person and over the phone;
Read and disseminate information from printed sources and computer screens;
Stand, sit, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, occasionally use a ladder, and lift up to 40 pounds;
Regularly travel by automobile throughout district.
Occasionally travel by airline.
Available a variety of hours to include evenings, nights and weekends.
