Electronic Assembler
Staff Management | SMX, a leading provider of custom designed staffing solutions for Fortune 500 companies throughout the country, has immediate openings for manufacturing associate with Our Premier Client in Colorado Springs, CO. Manufacturing associates will perform routine manual or electronic multi-piece assembly or testing in the manufacture of a working part/product. Noise level varies and can be loud. Repetitive motions require the use of arms, hands, and legs during shifts.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for building multiple units in a controlled area. Must develop an understanding of machine/product capacity and engineering. -Able to work efficiently on a line and produce a quality product within a scheduled time. -Produce quality product in accordance with total quality control steps. - Perform control runs on equipment and if necessary inspect, clean and equipment prior to or during shift operation. - Detect and report improper equipment operation, defective material or product to supervisor. - Follow all work and safety rules. - Ensuring completed electronics are packaged correctly for shipping. - Demonstrates attention to detail, good eye/hand coordination and quick, with strong multi-tasking abilities and decision making.
Experience in building electronics and working with small parts is a plus! All positions require ability to lift 10-45 lbs. from floor to shoulder height. Must be able to alternate standing or sitting for up to 10 hours. Manual dexterity and grip strength is a must. Experience with a soldering iron is neccessary. Normal or corrected vision to read directions, visually inspect parts, and to distinguish colors. Proficient reading, writing, math, and computer skills are a must.
