WEISBURG an established commercial landscape maintenance leader in the Pikes Peak Region is seeking a skilled CREW FOREMAN who has extensive landscape maintenance experience. This is a full-time year-round position with overtime available in summer months - for immediate hire.
Crew Foreman have the rewarding opportunity to lead a crew of 3-4 workers in providing landscape services on commercial properties. Our foremen are TOUGH, QUICK, CARING, SMART AND RESPECTFUL - demonstrating inspirational work ethic. They are responsible for prioritizing, coordinating and controlling work progress on jobsites. They ensure safe & timely completion of work in reference to pre-determined time budgets & schedules. They are also responsible for ensuring that their client's expectations for landscaping services are being met or exceeded.
Other Duties:
Keeping all assigned jobsites Clean, Green, Weed Free!
Execute a safe, efficient & quality mowing service for all assigned jobs
Perform technical tasks on jobsites (ex. weed control, tree ring buffers, bed maintenance, pruning, punch-lists, minor maintenance to irrigation & water feature systems, snow clearing, etc.)
Keep vehicle, trailer, equipment and tools safe, organized & clean
Produce accurate & timely paperwork & records
Train of personnel under their direction
Successfully manage crew safety
Requirements:
Must enjoy working outdoors in a hands-on manner, be flexible and enjoy a variety of different tasks in all types of weather
Must pass criminal background check and have valid Colorado Driver's License with no major violations or accidents in the past 5 years
Must be able to operate vehicles, trailers, and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have minimum of 1 year experience in commercial landscape maintenance with intermediate knowledge of landscape & irrigation maintenance - Landscape Industry Certified Technician preferred
Must have at least 1 year supervisory experience in related service industry
Must be able to perform a variety of landscape general labor tasks throughout each work day in an efficient & effective manner and lift & carry up to 50 lbs
Must maintain a professional appearance
Must have the ability to speak effectively before clients/supervisors/coworkers and to write routine reports in English
Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Must have the ability to prioritize & schedule multiple tasks and perform duties with little or no supervision
Must show initiative and a commitment to learn and follow the best landscape maintenance practices
Must be available for snow clearing duties after normal business hours and on weekends
