Yawnin Bear Lawn Care and Landscaping Inc. is looking for HARD WORKING, MOTIVATED and RELIABLE individuals to be part of their Lawn Care/ Snow Removal Crews. We are a smaller lawn care business located in Castle Rock, CO and have been in business for over 15 years. Our client base consists of commercial property maintenance, some residential property maintenance, commercial snow removal and commercial holiday lighting accounts. Our company has a reputation for quality work and is looking for individuals who are self motivated and take pride in doing a quality job. PLEASE READ ALL REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW BEFORE RESPONDING.
EDUCATION/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Must have clean driving record
-Previous lawn care experience is preferred but not required
-Excellent verbal communication skills
-Must have a clean-cut, professional image, sense of pride, integrity, self-motivation, attention-to-detail, perseverance and dependability
-Must display positive demeanor, professionalism and desire to please potential and existing customers
-Must enjoy working with a small crew
-Must be honest, reliable and trustworthy
-Must speak English
JOB DUTIES:
-Complete lawn care and landscape maintenance (mowing, string trimming, edging, blow off hard surfaces, weeding, pruning)
-Minor landscape installation
-Plant installation and identification
-Snow removal (shoveling and ATV w/plow)
-Install holiday lighting
-Regular attendance throughout the busy season and all required meetings
-Demonstrate teamwork
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be able to work extensive hours (40-45 hours per week), Monday thru Friday, to generate results (Saturdays are optional unless we are rained/snowed out during the week)
-Must possess physical ability and stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions
-Must be able to work long hours at any time of the day or night during the snow removal season
-Requires constant stooping, standing, walking, lifting and carrying heavy objects
-Requires mental alertness and situational awareness
-Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
