Job Description - Restoration Technician
Job Store Staffing is seeking an experienced Restoration Technician for our client in Colorado Springs. The Restoration Tech candidate will be a first-responder on property loss situations and helps to mitigate the damage in structures. Technicians are responsible for water and fire damage restoration, structural board-up and security, on-location cleaning, and various other duties.
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Schedule: Full Time - Variable Hours
Compensation: $13 - 14 / hour
RESTORATION TECHNICIAN JOB DUTIES:
Water extraction and mitigation
Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
Demolition
Structural board-up and site stabilization
Carpet cleaning
On location cleaning
Content handling/storage
Manage and maintain a clean and organized appearance of the vehicle, equipment, material, and consumables on job site and warehouse at all times
Representation on company Emergency On Call Rotation
Complete all necessary paperwork including daily progress report, moisture logs, safety logs and diagrams
Provide the highest level of customer service
All other duties or projects as assigned
RESTORATION TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of restoration industry experience (water, fire, and mold) is preferred
One year of demolition experience is preferred
Excellent communicator, both verbally and written
Ability to work with people in a professional manner
Maintains a valid and current driver's license
Availability for travel in response to out of town projects and catastrophic events
Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
