101 Staffing is looking to hire Order Pickers for its client. LOCATED in PUEBLO, CO
Responsibilities:
-Operates pallet jack and/or lift in a safe and responsible manner and follows all company policies, standards and procedures for operating equipment. Report any safety issues immediately to supervisor.
-Once assigned a picking cooler and order, pick product in sequence per the order. Build a stable and well cubed pallet, ensuring product is properly shipped and quality of product is maintained. Assigned a picking cooler.
-Pick the correct item and quantity. Check UPCâs or item descriptions. Using RF Scanner, scan the proper bar code, pick and enter the correct quantity.
-Identify and immediately report any miss-located products.
-Remove all empty pallets from pick locations and aisles. Place pallets in designated pallet storage area.
-Shrink wrap and label product/pallets with correct truck, stop and other required information.
-Perform all duties in accordance with Food Safety and OSHA policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
-Warehouse/Operations preferred, but not required.
-Strong attention to detail in needed
-Ability to operate warehouse equipment and RF scanners
-Must be able to lift 30-50lbs+ consistently during shift.
-Must be able to work in a cold room, 37 degrees
-Able to work at a very fast pace
-Must be able to comply with food safety procedures (USDA)
-Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Start times/Hours:
Your start time will vary from 7:00am - 8:00am depending on the schedule. 8-10 hours a day. 45+ hours per week.
Time off:
Days off will depend on the scheduling. You will have two consecutive days off per week. You might have to work the weekends.
Pay:
$13/hr - Overtime is 1.5 x reg pay
