Position Overview:
The DECO Team is seeking a critical member of our agency team to join as an entry level Marketing Assistant. We are looking for an individual that seeks meaningful work and competitive compensation in a teamwork office environment. This role will be full of learning and growth while assisting our team in the relationship marketing and branding efforts of our consulting agency.
This position is based out of our district office in Colorado Springs.
Minimum Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate clearly and professionally both in verbal and written form directly with business clients and individuals.
Assist the management team in coordination of scheduling and other assignments as needed.
Assist with the development, execution and coordination of assigned marketing and advertising events and seminars.
Manage workflow by developing leads and scheduling appointments for agents, appropriate follow-up, assigning tasks to manager and administrative staff daily to ensure that deadlines are met.
Making sure that workflow is completed efficiently and effectively.
Update analytic spreadsheets and CRM with organized detail.
Support existing efforts and drive new social media initiatives designed to promote our consulting agency.
Contribute to social media accounts as assigned.
Help develop new marketing and advertising campaigns as assigned.
Thinking creatively to support social presence growth.
Experience:
2+ years experience in marketing, communications and customer service is desired for this candidate.
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has sales and customer service experience and a desire to serve as the initial contact between our agents and the client. We work with business owners and are looking for a professional communicator.
Pleasant, professional and responsive communication.
Exceptionally strong interpersonal skills demonstrating excellence at building and maintaining professional relationships.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while ensuring the completion of assigned tasks.
Organized and detail oriented with focus on thorough representation of information.
Teamwork minded with a healthy sense of competition.
Flexibility with assignments and workflow.
Willing to participate in continual training and critique of skills through learning orientation.
Ability to work with deadlines and multi-task applicable projects while managing stress and maintain professional composure.
Working knowledge of all MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Marketing computer software, analytic spreadsheets and online CRM programs are a knowledge asset.
A solid understanding of how marketing and lead generation contribute to the sales cycle.
Compensation:
Average annual income of entry-level marketing assistant starts at $28k. Expected to increase rapidly.
Flexible hours. Semi-Remote Position (Colorado)
