Small Business -- Postal Unit in Colorado Springs is looking for a part-time clerk that is enthusiastic and has a strong customer focus to work in our shipping and packaging stores.
Essential Job Functions:
Welcome customers by greeting them and offering assistance
Direct customers to racks and counters; suggesting items
Provides customers information about our products and services
Helps customers make selections by offering suggestions and options
Processes payment with cash register and credit card terminals
Cleaning checklists must be completed throughout the day, small cleaning tasks each day
Stocking shelves with back stock as needed
Labeling and storing inventory when shipments arrive
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must have strong customer focus
Product knowledge - training will be provided
Must be able to work weekends and late afternoons
Must be able to accommodate a changing work schedule
Must have reliable transportation
Must be on-time ready to work for every schedule shift
Must possess a commitment to customer service, organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask. The ability to work independently is important. Retail experience is preferred and good communication skills a plus.
This is not a U. S. Post Office job, though many of the same skills are required.
Hours fluctuate between 8 am - 6 pm M-F, Saturdays 9 - 2
