Ratio Beerworks is a growing craft brewery located in the RiNo neighborhood of Denver. We are looking for an in-house bookkeeper to join the team and act as our on-staff accountant. The perfect candidate will be highly organized and thorough while paying high attention to detail. Craft beer industry experience is preferred but not required. Accounting degree and experience is required. Ratio is an exciting, young company building a strong financial foundation so we can focus on making great beer and growing our brand! JOB OVERVIEW

-Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

-Strong analytical and accounting knowledge

-Proficient in MS Excel, Quickbooks, and Bill.com

-Proficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

GENERAL JOB DUTIES

-Process, enter and properly code vendor invoices for multiple retail accounts

-Prepare and process checks for multiple stores

-Update and maintain vendor database

-Audit and verifies expenses reports

-Reconcile vendor statements

-Maintains account payable files

-Assist in 1099 preparation

-Perform bank reconciliations

-Assist with payroll requests

-Special projects as assigned

-A/P, A/R, adjusting journal entry creation, bank reconciliations, managing cash

-Producing month-end financial statements with reports

-Cash and Accrual Basis Accounting

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

-End-to-end processing of the accounts payable function including vendor invoice process and general ledger account coding

-Scrutinize payables and generate

-Monthly bill payments processing via checks and credit card

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

-Daily processing of cash, check, and credit card transactions

-Organizing and filing deposits as required

-Reconciling cash receipts and deposits

PAYROLL

-Entering new employees in payroll system

-Processing bi-monthly payrolls on time and accurately

OTHER DUTIES

-Copying, scanning, filing and other administrative duties as needed

-Other responsibilities as determined by supervisor

-Maintenance of various permits, licenses, registrations, and completion of compliance forms and reports

-Miscellaneous data and records compilation, analysis and filing and organizing
