Classes take Place Monday through Friday with most classes occuring between the hours of 10am-12pm or 3pm-5pm
Classes occur at local preschools, elementary schools, middle schools or community centers around the Denver Metro Area including: Denver, Edgewater, Lakewood, Aurora, Parker, Elizabeth, Castle Rock, Centennial, Englewood, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Golden
Dance Exploration, LLC is looking for passionate teachers, dancers and performers who love kids and want to expand their knowledge! Dance Exploration, LLC Educators receive a FREE Dance to Learn® Teaching Certification for their commitment to our mission and philosophy. Teaching Certifications are valid for one school year. Commitment to an entire year of teaching is required. Certificates are eligible for renewal after performance reviews. Certificate courses are offered online only and require 5-10 hours of hands on training with a Certified Educator as an assistant.
Come join our team of Dance Educators who believe every child should have the chance to dance! Our Dance Educators are often described as positive role models, passionate, kind, friendly, outgoing, creative, loveable, reliable, punctual and knowledgeable. Our Dance Educators get to introduce kids, ages 18-months to 12 years old, to multiple dance and theatre classes year-round! Dance Exploration offers all our Educators with the training and knowledge to be successful as well as continued lesson plans.
All Dance Educators work part-time. Dance Educators work between 3-8 hours/week (week days only) and all classes are offered on a first come first serve basis. Teaching opportunities with Dance Exploration are ideal for people who have a consistent schedule with other part-time employment or anyone who gets to make their own schedule like massage therapists, personal trainers, stay at home moms, etc. We're also a great fit for college students who are wanting to gain experience working with children or just wanting to earn some extra weekend money. We pay our Dance Educators $25-$50/class - all payment is based on class enrollment on a sliding scale. Educators are required to complete 5-10 hours of assisting as part of the Certification Process. All assistant hours are paid at $10/hour. Many Educators experience overlap in completing certification courses, assisting hours and teaching hours.
Requirements:
