We are seeking a Project Superintendent to join our team!
Qualifications:
Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years as project superintendent commercial buildings over 2 million.
School construction/remodel is a big plus
High organizational and people skills, good oral and written skills, detail oriented
Must have experience in scheduling, estimating, safety, quality assurance/ quality control, document control,
issue tracking, subcontractor and subcontract management, O&Ms
Knowledgeable in: take-offs, plan review, budgeting, submittals, RFIs, ASIs, pay apps
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and scopes of work
Proficient in MS office, MS project, Bluebeam, Procore
Must be able to work with limited supervision
Deadline and detail-oriented
Current driver's license & clean driving record
OSHA Certified preferable
Fluent Spanish is a big plus
Must pass a Pre-employment Background & Drug Test
Must provide references
Responsibilities:
In charge of field supervision of multiple projects
Responsible for all day to day jobsite activities
Responsible for maintaining and meeting project schedules
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
Responsible for scope review to ensure nothing is left out from the construction documents
Responsible for site safety and safety manual enforcement
Generate and maintain project logs/daily reports
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with subcontractors to receive reasonable change order costs
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
