Job Summary React Engineer, Software Engineering PangoBooks is a fast-growing social marketplace for books. In just a few short months, PangoBooks has grown into a vibrant community of book lovers buying and selling books right off their shelves. Take a picture, scan the barcode and your books are ready to be purchased. PangoBooks is connecting people from all over the country with a common passion for books and giving them an incredible set of tools to sell books and discover their next favorite read. In this role, you will help develop the interface that our amazing community of book lovers uses every day. You will be using ReactJS to develop and build UI components and implement the latest designs from our design team. The successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as collaboratively. An in-depth understanding of Javascript and React will be necessary. Implement new features and designs on the PangoBooks website using React, CSS, and Javascript.
Brainstorm with the product development team to come up with ideas that will enrich the user experience.
Build reusable React components.
Actively participate in scrum meetings.
Research and learn new technologies.
Collaborate with the design and development team about new features and designs.
