Accountant SrThis is a full-time, exempt/salary position based in Denver, Colorado. Readies, maintains and reviews financial and business transactions, applying generally accepted accounting principles. Performs work that is analytical, evaluative and advisory in nature requiring an understanding of accounting theory and practice.Job DutiesPrepares and reviews general ledger entries in conjunction with monthly closing processes and reconciles general ledger accounts.
Develops analytical/departmental reports as required or requested. Researches, analyses and explains financial variances and complex accounting transactions.
Organizes and leads significant projects throughout the year such as inventory, tax prep and audit. Ensures departmental and organizational compliance with current accounting standards, hospital policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Performs projects and duties to provide decision support to management as assigned.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
1 year relevant experience
PreferredState licensure (CO) as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
The pay range for this position is: $31.61 - $47.41 / hour.
