DescriptionPI and Workers Compensation Paralegal/Legal AssistantOur client, a boutique plaintiff’s personal injury and workers’ compensation firm, is currently seeking a 3 plus years’ paralegal to join their team. Experience with pre-litigation and litigation matters within personal injury are required as well as experience within the practice area of workers’ compensation. This position does require both administrative and legal responsibilities and candidates interested in this opportunity should be open to a hybrid legal assistant/paralegal duties, such as answering phone calls; scheduling/calendar management; Colorado/Federal filings; drafting demands; prooing; drafting letters of representation, etc. This is not a remote opportunity and would require coming to the office. The firm does offer a competitive salary. Prowess with word processing and spreadsheets highly sought after
Draft Legal Documents experience
Foundational knowledge in Calendar Management
Well-founded grasp of Intake Interviews
Answering Multi-Line Phone System experience highly desired
Medical records experience
Proven knowledge of case management
Draft Legal Documents experience preferred
Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
Detailed, accurate, and an ability to handle confidential information
Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
