Description:
The Product Owner role at Huron is perfect for a detail-oriented, technical person who is responsible for managing the product backlog and decomposing/defining objectives for agile development teams.
The Product Owner must be a highly creative, hands-on producer of original content and a patient, responsible collaborator. The Product Owner must be able to start with minimal and sometimes incomplete information regarding complex subject matter, and provide decisive, unambiguous guidance for technical implementation.
Job duties: Product ownership for multiple agile development teams including:
Ongoing active engagement with business stakeholders
Translation between business and technical requirements
Product roadmap planning and maintenance
Product backlog management and prioritization
Dependency mapping and coordination with internal/external partners
Clear, concise elaboration of use cases and acceptance criteria
Development iteration preparation and scoping
Proactive coordination across development teams
Negotiation and consultation with development resources
Change management administration and compliance
Release planning and stakeholder expectation management
Minimum viable product identification and focusing
Research and understand complex functionality
Collect, analyze, and interpret data
Reconcile data conflicts
