Job Description: UI/UX Designer with BI experience
Location: REMOTE but would like someone local to Denver, CO OR Portland, OR OR Pasadena, CA
Position Type: ContractOur healthcare client is looking for a UI/UX Designer who can do UI wireframing and has worked with BI applications as well. This person must have creative skills and know how to work with business intelligence report editor Power BI Desktop or a similar tool. Your job will be to improve the UI experience for various Dashboards for users from Business, Finance and Operations teams.Overview:
o Collaborate with a cross-functional team of other designers, editors, developers, product and project managers to ensure that we are executing against project goals and milestones.
o Develop and apply our branding guidelines, UX standards and voice to a consistent brand experience.
o Create key design deliverables such as site maps, user flows, wireframes, style guides, visual design comps and interactive prototypes throughout the project lifecycle.
o Collaborate with the research team on usability testing, providing insight as well as prototypes for testing.
o Collaborate with development to check that output coincides with an optimal user experience.Skills a Top Candidate Should Have:
Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI, Design or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience designing in business intelligence applications: preferably in PowerBI, but open to Tableau, MicroStrategy, or Business Objects acceptable
2-3 years of UX/UI experience.
Proficient in wireframing
Proficiency in interface and interaction design and information architecture able to organize information in a clear way and design to a high standard
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with crossfunctional teams in an agile environment.
Proven experience working with strict brand and style guide standards in a bigger company environment.Desired Skills:
o Healthcare or Financial Services industry experience.
