Here's what you will be doing...
ï§ Operate power and hand tools (hammer, shovel, screwdriver, drills)
ï§ Assemble/Disassemble shoring equipment, make sure shoring is in proper location for safety of those in trench
ï§ Dig trenches to desired or required depths, dig around utilities by hand or using trenching tools
ï§ Shovel, sweep, dig or use cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or for protection
ï§ Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement
ï§ Shovel cement and other materials into portable cement mixers, mix, pour and spread concrete
ï§ Assist pipe layers with cutting and laying out piping
ï§ Smooth and finish freshly poured cement or concrete, using floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools.
Here's what you need to be qualified...
ï§ No experience necessary, however experience in construction, landscaping or similar trade is helpful
ï§ Ability to work Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours per week
ï§ Successfully complete all background checks, drug testing and employment screenings
ï§ Valid Driver's License, clean driving record (no major offenses/DUI's - 7 years)
ï§ Ability to climb stairs, perform some lifting, sit and stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, working with heights, bending, kneeling
ï§ Must be able to work in a variety of environment conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures and a dust environment
ï§ Neatly groomed per dress code policy
ï§ Must have sufficient oral skills to communicate effectively with clients, employees and management
