Distinctive Designs custom cabinets of Colorado has been producing cabinets for 19 years. We are a family owned company located in Golden, Colorado. Ddesigns manufactures custom cabinets, bookcases, and closets. We produce all of our beautiful cabinetry on site including finishing/staining/painting and assemble in the shop.
We are currently seeking an passionate and motivated individual to immediately fill the position of Cabinet Shop Manager. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, who will effectively deliver a high-quality product that is produced cost-effectively, efficiently and on-time. The primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Job Responsibilities:
Managing shop employees.
Time Management.
Understanding company product lines, equipment & machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
Problem resolution.
Orders with vendors.
Communicate with clients as needed per project.
Understand how to read and use DWG drawings for ordering materials. (AutoCad file).
Job Requirements:
Prior management and supervisory experience (3-5 years), with hiring responsibilities
Experience in woodworking or cabinet making fields (32mm systems a plus)
o CNC Machinery
o Panel Processing
Experience using or reading DWG AutoCad files.
Material Orders.
Customer service skills.
Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools
Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Computer proficient in Microvellum software- be able to read Cad drawings. (1 year)
Positive attitude and leadership skills
Team player
Wood working experience is a must!
