We are looking to add a Construction Handyman to our team immediately. We are looking for someone who is great with customers and also good with their hands, can work independently, enjoys using tools, and likes to fix things. This person would be on the job daily, assisting our construction team on various projects. If you dont want a job that requires sitting at a desk all day, this could be an ideal opportunity for you. Its a great opportunity for someone who has the desire to learn and make a career out of construction.
What youll do:
- Perform a broad range of basic repair and installation tasks confidently, with minimal supervision, while maintaining our quality and customer service standards
- Order and replace broken parts or equipment
- Maintain a clean and a safe work space
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Specific Skills Needed:
- Experience with basic trades: plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, millwork/framing, HVAC and appliance troubleshooting
- Skilled at working with common hand and power tools
- Ability to follow verbal and written communication
- Able to work indoors/outdoors in all environmental conditions (heat, cold, and rain)
- Willingness to uphold company standards for safety and efficiency
- Travel to various sites as needed to assist managers on multiple projects in the Metro Area
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A valid driver's license
- Current proof of insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly without any health restrictions
- Residential Construction experience is a plus
