issho (a Colorado-based sustainable home + energy systems company) is looking for a Colorado-licensed Master Electrician who wants to earn extra income on the side with minimal time commitment.
We’re not looking for someone to join daily operations. This is a fractional, 1099 role ideal for a seasoned electrician who wants a simple, low-involvement way to monetize their license.
What we need:
We are looking for a Master Electrician to serve as our Responsible Master Electrician (RME) so we can maintain our electrical contractor license in Colorado. You’d allow us to register under your license, and we would pull permits/interconnections under that license only when needed.
Time commitment is low—mostly reviewing documents, occasional sign-offs, and being available if inspectors or utilities need clarification. You do not need to manage crews, run installs, or be on job sites unless you want to.
We will:
Register our CO electrical contractor license under your Master license
Handle all day-to-day operations
Notify you each time your license is used
Pay you for each permit/interconnection, plus a monthly retainer
Keep clean documentation and compliance at all times
You will:
Serve as Responsible Master Electrician (RME) for issho
Ensure compliance with Colorado Electrical Board requirements
Review and sign off on permits/designs as needed
Be available for periodic communication with inspectors/utilities
Provide occasional technical guidance (mostly solar, batteries, EV chargers, smart panels)
