We deliver high-quality paving, seal coating, patching, and striping services to schools, churches, commercial facilities, and property management companies across Colorado.
Our team does things the right way, the first time. We’re expanding our commercial division and looking for a high-performing Estimator-Sales professional to help us deepen client relationships and grow booked revenue.
What You’ll Do: Responsibilities
This role blends sales and estimating—designed for someone who can represent J & M Commercial Services with professionalism and accuracy, from first handshake through signed contract. You will:
Develop and maintain relationships with commercial property managers, facility directors, school systems, and retirement communities
Prospect new business through referrals, outbound activity, and door-to-door outreach
Develop business opportunities through networking and relationship building initiatives
Conduct job walks and create accurate, competitive estimates using Excel, Windows, Bluebeam take off system and PlanHub, and other 3rd party bid boards.
Coordinate closely with the operations and project teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing
Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
Represent J & M Commercial Services with professionalism in the field, at the office, and on-site with clients
This Role is Right for You If You: Requirements
Demonstrated success in direct sales and business development initiatives thru existing clientele
Have 3–5 years of experience in asphalt paving sales, estimating, or commercial construction
Know the industry and understand the needs of facility managers and property owners
Are comfortable booking $2–5 million in annual revenue
Can estimate jobs confidently and competitively
Are a trusted communicator who builds long-term relationships
Are proficient in Excel and familiar with estimating software
Know your way around a CRM or are eager to learn
Are self-directed, organized, and comfortable with regular in-state travel
Must have a valid current driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record
Can pass a drug test and are dependable, honest, and team-oriented

Job Type: This is a Full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Pay: From $65,000.00 + per year, plus commission commensurate with experience
