Carpenters and Apprentices Job Openings
Overview
We are currently looking to fill positions for Carpenters and or Carpenterâs Apprentice. Duties of this position will be to assist crew leads with construction of Decks, Patio Covers, Pergolas and other structures as needed. Abilities must include lifting heavy objects of 80+ pounds regularly, being able to work outdoors and in the elements, using basic math skills, ability to work as a team player as well as individually as necessary.

Tasks
As a carpenter, you would be working directly with all power tools including saws, nail guns, drills, etc. Carpenters should have minimum 1 year experience with framing, decking or similar structural work. Must be able to read tape measure, make straight cuts and have knowledge of tools needed in the trade. Duties will range anywhere from digging and moving material, to detailed trim work. A wide range of skills will be utilized. Again, good teamwork and positive attitude is a must.
A carpenterâs apprentice will be learning the trade from scratch. Duties will include digging, moving materials, assisting in holding things in place, learning. This position does not require previous experience, but requires a desire to learn and form skills needed to be able to progress as an employee.
Pay
This position is employee, W-2 based. This is a full time position. Taxes are automatically taken from paychecks. In addition, because all pay is reported, if any government agencies are looking for you they will find you! So, if you owe back taxes, child support, unpaid tickets, etcâ¦. You will be garnished at some point... Fair warning.
Pay is weekly and through direct deposit. We use phone based software for logging hours, so timesheets are simplistic.
An entry level apprentice will be looking at anywhere from $13-$16 per hour depending on any previous experience.
A more skilled carpenter will be looking at anywhere from $15-$20 per hour depending on experience. A carpenter who is skilled enough to work without a lot of supervision or as a crew leader will be $20+ per hour.
Benefits
After a 90 day probation period, employees are offered participation in company health care benefits. In addition, long term employees qualify for PTO and bonuses.
