I own a small carpentry business in Arvada. I specialize in interior trim work, cabinet making, and many types of exterior trims and decks from custom to basic carpentry.

We are looking to fill two current positions as follows -

1 - Someone with several years of carpentry experience as an employee averaging 30 to 40 hrs per week that has basic tools.

2 - I would also consider hiring a motivated younger person that is interested in learning the carpentry trade to work along side me as an apprentice.

We require our employees Must have a professional appearance on projects, Must be drug free, Must have an appropriate job site vocabulary and interact well with other subcontractors and home owners.

It would be to your wage benefit to have past experience with at least some of the following-

cabinet making, cabinet installation, trim moldings, treads & risers, hardware install, built in closets, mantels, pocket hole joinery, hardwood floor installation, Foe beams, door installation, basic framing, remodels, new construction, demolition work.

Our standards are high: you must be Punctual, Clean cut, efficient, have a good attitude even when the work is hard, and maintain the highest levels of craftsmanship with the willingness to learn new techniques or teach a few you may have. Efficiency is very important to our company and will affect your future opportunity with my company greatly.

If we meet for an interview I will ask you the following questions so any answers you can give me before we take each others time will greatly speed up the hiring process process.

1.Your approx living location

2.Your skills and strengths in the carpentry trade. What elements of carpentry you have the least experience with.

3.Your desired hourly rate

4. do you have Reliable transportation

5. How many hours per week you would like to work

6. Do you have other commitments that will affect your ability to be on site by 8am or that will force you to leave before 4 or 5pm.

7. Are you ever available to work Saturdays.

8. How far are you willing to travel to job sites

9. Do you have references and or photos of past projects

10 If you are located out of state when will you be willing to relocate to Co?
