The ideal candidate will have strong experience completing various desktop support duties including installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of end user and network hardware, as well as a knack for customer service. This is a great opportunity to join the team and grow with us!

Job Summary:
In this role, your main function is to support and maintain organizational computer systems, desktops, and warehouse peripherals. This individual is responsible for all the Windows’s workstations and devices at the Logistics Center, and the ultimate goal is to ensure that the facility remains technologically operational. That includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. You will troubleshoot problem areas (in-person, by telephone, or via work order) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required. The Logistic Center Support Technician is the first point of contact for the entire location’s IT support needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform on-site or remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
  • Understand and work within established escalation procedures for items that require further troubleshooting for resolution.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or work orders regarding desktop problems and potentially difficult to diagnose issues.
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products to deliver required desktop service levels.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization’s desktop computing environment.
  • Ensure that desktop connections, i.e., network jacks and other physical connections are in proper working order.
  • Interface with third-party support and PC equipment vendors as necessary

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Must = and reside within the United States or its Territories.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC and desktop hardware and internal components
  • Experience troubleshooting iOS
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Working technical knowledge of modern computer protocols, operating systems, and standards.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Solid communication skills to communicate with support personnel, co-workers, and managers, as well as other corporate entities.
  • Ability to conduct research into PC and software issues and products as required.
  • Jamf experience in a professional setting
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as ConnectWise and Intune preferred but not required
