Staff Accountant
General Contractor is seeking a full time, permanent Staff Accountant in our Longmont, CO office working primarily with Accounts Receivables, Job Costs and General Ledger. $24-$27 per hour plus competitive benefits. Submission of a cover letter and resume is required. Please email to info@gtc1.net.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Process monthly billings
+ Post cash receipts
+ Setup and maintain jobs in the accounting software
+ Maintain physical records of job contracts
+ Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure accurate cost reports
+ Research and correct discrepancies in job costs
+ General ledger reconciliation and maintenance
+ Assist Controller with month-end and year-end closing, to include financial statements
+ Other various duties within the accounting department or other departments as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Ideal candidate will have a college degree in accounting or related field with 2 years of work experience
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
+ 10 key by touch
+ Construction industry experience preferred
