Currently looking for an estimator/project manager assistant to join our commercial landscape/civil team. Interested candidates must have some sort of experience and knowledge with preparing bids for commercial landscape or civil construction jobs that can exceed $1,000,000. Other types of estimating experience in the construction industry may be considered. This is a 25-40 hour a week job with some opportunity to work from home. Duties include:
Estimator (50% of your job duties)
Searching for invitations to bid
Gathering plan sets, specification and bid documents
Attending/participating in pre-bid meetings
Performing material take offs from construction plans
Reviewing specifications and incorporating information into project cost
Soliciting material and subcontractor quotes
Preparing bid documents for submittal
Delivering bid documents
Follow up on project bids that were submitted
Track statistics of bid results
Sales (25% of your job duties)
Develop relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
Solicitate new bid opportunities by identifying and contacting potential customers
Project manager assistant (25% of your job duties)
Assist with the contract process
Prepare submittal packages
Maintain plan sets
Prepare close out documents
This is a part time job with an average of 25-40 hours per week. Some of these works can be worked form home and the rest in the Windsor office. You will also be attending pre-bid meetings periodically thought out the Northern Colorado and Denver area. Must have own transportation.
