CTL|Thompson Inc. seeks an Experienced Structural Engineer for its Fort Collins, CO office. The successful applicant must have a PE license and 10+ years of experience designing commercial and/or industrial structures. Preference will be given to engineers with working knowledge and experience with Colorado soil conditions and expansive soils. Familiarity with northern Colorado contractors is also a plus. Strong desire and ability to provide client-focused service are required. Work will be primarily geared toward projects; however, client service and business development will also be required.

Duties will include:

· Coordinating with architects and owners on building structural systems

· Directing / teaching junior staff

· Managing project budget and client expectations

· Attending project meetings

· Business Development

The applicant must have a B.S. in engineering, and at least 10 years of structural engineering experience. In addition to strong engineering skills, this individual must possess an understanding of construction methods and client relations. Good writing and communication skills are essential.
