RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeing an experienced Validation Test Engineer for an enterprise client who is looking to enhance the way their hardware performs in Fort Collins, Colorado (CO). This position will require someone to go onsite from day one and will need to be local to the area.
In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (-the Act-) (C.R.S. S 8-5-101 et seq.), Kforce discloses that the anticipated pay range for this position, which is subject to change based on job-related factors, including Kforce client requirements where applicable, is between $19.50-$21.75.

In this role you will perform:
Hardware set up and configuration duties
Execute validation tests
Document any issues with testing, hardware and ensure fixes are implemented and effective
Communicate cross functionally with various teams (hardware, software, testing)
Help set up different network environments
Troubleshoot basic networking issues
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is nice to have
1 year of experience working with computers, computer hardware, networking devices
Prior experience with Intel Management Engineer (ME) or Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) or Intel Setup & Configuration Software (Intel SCS) - highly preferred
Understanding of firmware, BIOS
Basic understanding of networking concepts such as: managing/setting up firewalls, setting up peer to peer networks, managing a networking ecosystem
Prior experience performing validation testing - highly preferred
Critical thinking, willing to think outside the box and not just execute
Highly communicative
