Heritage Haus is a small 18 bed Assisted Living that is locally owned and operated. No lifting, No bathing and no incontinence care. We're hiring for either one, full-time and one part-time caretaker, or two part-time caretaker positions. There is flexibility in the number of hours.

Our Care Providers are the face of Heritage Haus and we take pride in our employees. Heritage Haus is our Residents home, we just work in it, but if often feels like home to our staff too.
The following overnight shifts are available: EVERY Saturday from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m., EVERY Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 p.m.-7 a.m.
Afternoon Shifts: EVERY Monday 3p.m 9p.m.
There are also opportunities for fill-in shifts during various times of day and night. If these shift times/days don't work for you, please apply when another opening is available in the future.
The overnight shift prohibits you from sleeping, but you do have a chance to read, craft, watch TV, do homework, or other quiet activities on premise once your assigned tasks are complete. The QMAP job entails an emphasis on housekeeping duties, laundry, as well as medication administration, protective oversight, and whatever else is needed to provide a high standard of quality care!

Our residents are a group of friendly, intelligent, witty, and fun individuals that range in age from 27 to 77. They are gentle and medication compliant! Because of our younger clientele, there is NO lifting, NO bathing, NO wound, and NO incontinence care. Basic knowledge of mental illness such as depression and anxiety is helpful but not necessary.
We REQUIRE and PAY for a required Background Check, TB Testing, First Aid/CPR Training, Flu Shot, and QMAP training - as needed. References will be checked. NO phone calls. Please INCLUDE A RESUME via email, and indicate if you already have your QMAP (A Developmentally Disabled QMAP Certification does NOT qualify) and First Aid/CPR certification, TB and Flu shots.
Duties/Responsibilities:
QMAP:
Provide and monitor personal care for residents
Assist residents with medication administration as directed by physician's orders and facility policies and
procedures
Maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, and others, which includes, but is not limited to, performing
housekeeping tasks as assigned
Participate in activities with residents, when applicable
Assist in maintaining resident reports and other records as required by State regulation
Answer the telephone in a professional manner and take complete messages
Respond to resident and administration requests in a positive manner
Attend classes, in-services, and meetings as required
