The Loveland Housing Authority has an immediate opening for a full time Maintenance Worker I. The salary range starts at $41,292 annually and is commensurate with experience. In addition, the Loveland Housing Authority offers an excellent compensation package which includes; health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and a 457(b) retirement plan.
The Maintenance Worker I position is assigned responsibilities related to the construction, maintenance, repair, and upkeep of buildings and grounds at Housing Authority properties. This may include assisting in the renovation of buildings, general maintenance and upkeep of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and other systems, minor repairs to machinery or other equipment, and general maintenance of grounds or lawns.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), the ability to lift 75 lbs., and have at least two years of building maintenance and/or construction related experience. Basic knowledge of computers is required.
Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years) and be insurable through our insurance carriers.
A criminal history and motor vehicle background check is required.
This position requires participation in 24 hour on call rotation duties.
The Loveland Housing Authority has developed and manages over 1,400 units of affordable housing in four Northern Colorado communities. We have a high standard of maintaining quality affordable housing for moderate and low-income families, seniors, and veterans, as well as providing quality services to support our residents.
