Quality Technician - Manufacturing:
Due to continued growth, Creative Foam™s Colorado Composites division has an immediate need for a skilled Quality Technician that aids in achieving high customer satisfaction while providing support to production personnel and overall management of the quality system. This key position reports the Quality Manager.
Primary functions/Duties:
Conduct and oversee internal audits both for manufacturing practices and internal quality management system audits.
Provides training related to the quality processes used in the manufacturing process.
Assists with development, implementation and maintenance of quality system to ensure the compliance with and ISO9001:2015 Quality System.
Provide feedback to plant operations personnel, process owners and Quality Manager on all issues concerning product
Support company safety policies
Implement product and process improvements
Preservation of Quality Control documents and daily reporting of information
Required Skills
Ability to understand drawings, technical documents and specifications, as well as an understanding of manufacturing systems; i.e. ERP systems
Knowledgeable in inspection and testing methods
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in a quality role
Internal auditing, continual improvement experience is preferred
Working Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 requirements or similar certification
