Thanks for your interest in Blue Pine Construction. We are currently looking to add a full time employee to be a part of our Deck Building Team. We are a multi-scope construction business that prides itself in providing a quality product, by certified and well educated employees in a fun, fast paced work environment.
Ideal candidate must:
-Be able to lift 60lbs and have reliable transportation.
- Must have good communication skills, as a crew leader, and with our customer base. Should be able to articulate productive feedback on all projects, to enhance our ever evolving processes.
- Be detail oriented
- Be willing to lead/teach/mentor a crew of up to 3 employees.
- Have extensive knowledge of deck framing practices and methods. Must understand stair layout and design. Must understand the need for specialty blocking and fastening methods for specific decking design and handrail systems.
- Have 4+ years experience in deck building, handrail installation and pergola installation.
- Must be able read a set of plans, provide material take off and predict material needs to keep crew running efficiently, on budget and on time. Must be able to think on the fly and provide safe, code compliant workaround when things don't go as planned.
- Must help ensure safe, clean and compliant work sites.
