Experienced Solar Installer
Overview
Sandbox Solar is seeking an experienced solar installer with 2+ years of solar installation. Preferable experience with various types of mounting hardware such as ground mounts, tesla/solar city, unirac, etc. The jobs requires tech savviness, use of applications, and great team leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Layout and assembly of mounting hardware and solar modules
- Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment.
- Electrical wiring of solar array (DC)
- Documentation of completed installation
- Clean up job site
-Responsible for driving company vehicle
- Maintain safety standards for all men on crew
-Responsible for completing projects on time and correctly
- Directing crew to complete project/jobs on time
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: 2 years previous Solar experience
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be professional and have clean appearance
- High school diploma required
Compensation
- Competitive compensation based on experience $20-25/hour depending on experience.
