Local property management company has openings for seasonal full-time, Maintenance Technicians. Seeking technicians with trade skills in flooring, painting, and remodeling. Seasonal work will last through end of August. This position has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Qualified candidate must be professional, outgoing and friendly. The goal of the position is to provide residents with a clean, well maintained and fully functional living environment. The responsibilities of the maintenance technician will include; general repairs to rental units / common areas of buildings and grounds, vacant unit preparation, trash removal, emergency repairs, cleaning, landscaping, ordering maintenance equipment, record keeping, accepting deliveries, and installing appliances. This position requires a general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and property maintenance. Specialized knowledge in drywall, roofing, painting, flooring installation and remodels are a definite plus.
This position has the following requirements:
Applicant must furnish their own tools.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able lift 75 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, walk on roofs, stoop, kneel, bend, and have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Must be able to work without direct supervision and balance many projects at once.
Candidate must possess a current valid driver's license, and insurance.
Applicants must complete a background check.
Our Maintenance Technicians must be willing and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced team-environment. Some days are pressure filled and you will need to remain flexible, resourceful and efficient. Maintenance Technicians may work with any of the following:
Electrical
Plumbing
Carpentry
Drywall
Painting
Flooring
Appliances
Exterior Structures
This position is compensated based on experience and is a forty hour a week position, 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
