DIGON Systems is a small business in downtown Fort Collins that provides tech services to mostly federal clients. Were good, which means were growing and are now looking for lucky employee #13. In addition to someone who has a passion for innovation, and will enhance DIGONs reputation for creative solutions and getting the job done, we are looking for:
Software Engineer
With full support from management, you would be expected to:
Work individually and as part of a team to build web and mobile applications.
Support full development cycle from requirements, through design and development, to test and delivery.
Keep skills current by staying up-to-date on emerging tools and technologies.
Communicate effectively with internal & external project stakeholders of all levels of technical ability.
Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum one year of professional software development experience
Professional software development experience with .NET (C#)
Experience with SQL databases (preferably Microsoft SQL Server), and a working knowledge of basic database principles.
Knowledge of IT best practices, including security, change management, version control, etc.
Desired Skills/Experience:
Experience with web service technologies such as SOAP, WCF, REST
Active MCSA/MCSD/MCSE/etc certifications
> 2 years professional experience with one or more of the following tools/frameworks:
o ASP.NET MVC + Entity Framework
o Angular
o Xamarin
o OpenAPI/Swagger
Experience developing with cloud based infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
Experience working with federal or state government entities
