This position will be the business owner for Internet Product's strategic data assets. The role will work with the Data Platforms to ensure that these data assets are integrated with other relevant data sources, sustainable, available, and ready for analytics.

This person will also work with Advanced Analytics, Network Operations, Business Intelligence, and vendors to manage the lifecycle of data assets, both new and existing. This function will include working with technical teams to develop/source and integrate new data sources, diving in deep to understand the sources of data and what they really mean, and engineering new data features that accelerate analytics and reveal new insights. This position will also deliver strategic analytics that provide insights into our products, our customers, and their needs. These analytics will be used at executive levels to inform product strategies and to create fact based understanding of current trends.

Successful candidates will be able to understand the needs of the business, translate that into a vision with defined deliverables, and lead cross functional resources to deliver. Candidates with analytical background and experience in leading cross functional teams will have greater success in the role. Candidates will build on the foundations laid by the team and enhance our capabilities and time to respond to executive requests. Candidates should be agile in nature and welcome challenges.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Deeply understand industry best practices in analytics and reporting specific to the Cable or telecommunications space.

Responsible for the definition and delivery of Internet Product analytics and reporting including: metrics definition, data visualizations, data features, and lifecycle.

Partner with other organizations (e.g. Engineering, Network Operations, Marketing, Information Technology, and Business Intelligence) to obtain and ingest new reference data sources required for Product reports.

Manage the Internet Product data assets

Proactively identify analysis and conduct with deep analytics when appropriate while maintaining an eye toward the bigger picture.

Support the development of Product Strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results. Work with engineering, product management peers, marketing stakeholders and key market areas on implementing strategy.

Motivate resources through communication and awareness of project needs and business impacts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Product Management and/or Product Development Experience Required, preferably in Cable, Telecommunications, Software or Web Services
Strong Excel and analytical skills
Aptitude and eagerness to learn from a new environment and make an impact quickly
Ability to balance conflicting resource demands and internal pressures with focus towards our business priorities
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to develop, communicate and implement strategies and tactics
Ability to manage and deliver against several initiatives simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:
Basic SQL understanding is preferred

Education
Undergraduate degree required
MBA preferred, but not required
Prefer technical degree
